Somebody asked so I guess it isn't common knowledge.

1. Go to https://imgur.com/upload and upload a pic or CTRL+V (paste) a screenshot or link.
2. Hover over the down-arrow thingy and click "Get Share Links"

3. Copy the "BB-Code" and then just paste it here when making a new post.

Easy.
Very cool, thank you!

I just hope imgur does not go down the Imageshack path in the next few years..

Or even worse, the photobucket path...

It's dumb that they only make the share codes accessible via that drop-down arrow. With larger pictures in the past I've had real trouble selecting it properly because the mouse would just make me click the picture itself if I didn't align it absolutely perfectly. Why they scrapped having the options displayed on the right-hand side so you could select from them straight away is beyond me...

People need to stop fixing things that aren't broken.

They want people to share links that open their website rather than directly open the picture. They want to gain new users and make people familiar with their brand.

But yeah, lame move on their part.

They should instead make their albums/galleries, sharing, etc. easier to use and more useful so people link to their site rather than the pics directly.
We have a rich text editor so you can just right click copy image and paste in here if you're lazy

Oh no the links were exactly the same, just easier to access.
