We eventually made it down to the Abyss mage where we stood for awhile. The RCers were scared of us. I found this amazing. Soon after, a friend and I were at the Fishing Guild when a clan came in, talking about how they won a war and the prize was they get to claim that world as theirs. My friend, Dark Sora100, said, "I'm going to train up and join that clan. I'll admit, DI looked quite impressive. I wanted to learn how to PK.

Castle Wars was popular at the time and I was approached by a clan recruiter. I got my son to join that clan and to let me know if it was an ok clan. He said it was so I joined 3v0.
You play with your kid? That's neat as. Even better that you've trained him up as a scout. Idea What's that like, anyway? I'm guessing you both give each other plenty of motivation and incentive to keep at RS.
Clans make your peepee bigger.
I tend to get involved in the community before committing myself to a clan and I found that after liking the community and the people in it, I joined. This was true for SE and DF.
I was initially against the whole idea of being part of a clan. I enjoyed working on the domestic(-.-) skills, so didn't really see a purpose in joining a clan. Then, my IRL friend told me about RD (Reckoning Day) and since it was a small tight group, the idea grew on me, we had such great memories. Once RD closed, I briefly joined TMRD prior to retiring. I think my main reason for staying was having a group of people available when PKing, and other in-game support. I still keep in touch with some of the RD members and it's been 12 years.
My clan history goes back and has some on and offs but once I started settling in specific clans, the times were amazing.

Genesis (2006-2007) - I was like lvl 80 and just barely met requirements but was accepted. Down the road, as young as I was (14?), we started venturing into PvP but the clan became split. Not sure what happened after but,
Apocalypse - (2007) - I ended up joining Apocalypse which was a slight remade variation of Dark Knights United. Only a couple noteworthy people if I can recall but the fights were fun.
Blasphemy - (2007) - Genesis v2. I lost internet and when I came back, Apocalypse closed and Genesis was transitioning into Blasphemy. Things happened and I ended up parting ways.
Ronin (2007-2007) - There were three variations of Ronin, a small clan which I tried to manage/run and then two remakes afterward.
Ronin v2 (2008-2009) - This version was a lot bigger but a bit messier at times since most of us weren't used to being a medium/large clan. Some great 50vs50+ fights were had.
Genesis Knights (screw the years now lol) - Joined a little after I shutdown Ronin v2. This was a remake of the original with different leadership. Good memories/community for the most part.
Shadow Elves - Short stint here after a ragequit lol. Spent 4 months with SE and enjoyed it all but GK was really my place. GK actually closed a few months after I rejoined, though.
Solace - Two stints here, removed the first time due to inactivity, then came back and became MotM/Trial General the second time around. We were all about quality and it really showed in its history. Our clashes with EoS could've put us in the coffin, but we somehow came back from the first crash war and progressed quickly afterward.

I had to travel and live on a government school for a little while and tried to make a clan before I left but it didn't last long as I couldn't be around too much. When I came back, the clan world was forming on OSRS and I joined The Titans for a very short stint, then Divine Forces. I got bored in Divine Forces and decided to remake Ronin into v3 but had to attend another government school, but the clan carried on this time. When I came back it just wasn't the same, nor was I, and I ended up joining The Rising until it closed (its first closure on OSRS) and joined Forsaken until it closed. The Rising reopened and I was there for almost a year before it closed its doors.

Mega long history but I enjoyed my time. I've moved on from RS completely now but some good memories were had and some not so good moments were had. Oh well. Tongue
